Joie de vivre
I was listening to a podcast the other day where the guest spoke about her loss of ‘joie de vivre’ since reaching midlife. Menopause impacted her life in negative ways, thankfully she found help. She wasn’t clinically depressed however somehow her va-va-voom, zest and joyfulness had somehow escaped her. She couldn’t recall when it happened, there was no defining time or place. I’m convinced her spark was still there waiting to be ignited.
“The 40s and beyond are all you were meant to be.”
